On Aug.10, in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province and Hanoi City jointly held a conference on development cooperation between two localities.
According to the evaluation report presented at the conference, over the past years, the implementation of the cooperation agreement between Quang Ninh Province and Hanoi City has achieved important results, thus promoting socio-economic development, ensuring national defense, security and social security, positively contributing to the general development of the region and the country.
Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party’s Committee, Nguyen Van Doc affirmed that thanks to particular geographical location, potential and strengths, each locality had its own direction, administration and creative ways. Therefore, the cooperation conference would be a very good opportunity for Quang Ninh and Hanoi to share and exchange experiences.
Addressing at the conference, Secretary of the Hanoi Municipal Party’s Committee, Hoang Trung Hai emphasized that over the years, Quang Ninh gained breakthroughs in all fields, showing the determination of Quang Ninh’s Party, Government and people to become one of the extreme motivations for economic development in the ecomomic triangle of Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh. He affirmed that this conference would be an opportunity to assess the strengths, shortcomings and limitations in the cooperation between the two localities, thereby giving solutions for synchronous and efficient cooperation and development.
