The festival of Cherry Blossom and Yen Tu Yellow Apricot Flowers is taking place at the Truc Lam Yen Tu Cultural Centre at Thuong Yen Cong commune in Uong Bi city. The event is expected to offer locals and visitors with a great opportunity to experience outstanding Vietnamese and Japanese cultural features.

Launched on Mar. 9, the nine-day festival showcases the beauty of more than 100 Cherry Blossom trees and 5,000 Cherry Blossom branches as well as hundreds of Yen Tu Yellow Apricot trees. It can be seen that this delightful scenery marks the closer relationship between the two countries of Vietnam and Japan.
