In the evening of Nov.13, at Vietnam- Japan Culture and Labour Center (Ha Long city), the finale round of China-Vietnam Friendship Singing Contest 2011 was officially closed. Mr. Pham Minh Chinh, member of the Provincial Party Committee attended the ceremony.
At the closing night, Vietnamese contestants presented Chinese songs and vice versa Chinese contestants creating new and attractive atmosphere for the audiences.
The first prizes were awarded to Hoang Le Quyen (Vietnam) and Huang Jin (China). The candidates from Hoa Binh province was rewarded with the prize for the Vietnamese candidate who sang the best Chinese song; Tan Wen (China) was also rewarded with the prize for the best Chinese candidate in Vietnamese song.
This contest is one of the international cultural exchange activities to celebrate 61 year anniversary of diplomatic relation between China and Vietnam. Through the contest, the most typical cultural characteristics of the two countries were shown in the melody and words of the songs .
The 3rd China-Vietnam Friendship Contest 2012 is planned to be organized in China.
