Chairman of QNPPC Nguyen Van Doc meets Australian investors

Chairman of QNPPC Nguyen Van Doc chaired a meeting on Oct. 6 with a delegation of Austrex (Australian Rural Exports Pty Ltd) headed by its Director Jake Morse.

At the meeting, on behalf of the group, Mr. Jake Morse thanks Mr. Nguyen Van Doc for cordial reception and strong support of Quang Ninh during their field-survey in Hai Ha and Ba Che districts. He is very confident of feasibility of the project to raise Australian cows in these areas. Mr. Jake Morse said that Australian investors wished to invest in building a farm producing Austrialian beef to provide not only Asutralian market but also in the the region. The farm will be with a capacity of 15,000-20,000 cows. It is expected to creat jobs for around 200-300 local labors.

Mr. Jake Morse hoped to be informed with all the information and supported by QNPPC during their research and proposal development. He suggested that Quang Ninh would pay attention the human resources to sastify the project's demands.

On behalf of QNPPC, Chairman Doc affirmed that Quang Ninh is the first locality in nationwide to apply new policies in the direction of economic international integration. He then expressed strong committment in dealing with difficulties which may arise during their implementation in Quang Ninh.

For the Astralian cow raising project, Doc believed that this would be a good project in bringing benefit to the investor and creating potential conditions for the districts in Quang Ninh to develop supporting industries. He requested the Australian investors to continue to undertake surveys on climate, land and other necessary conditions to carry out the project. He assigned Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to be the focal point of contact in this project.
