Cam Pha City held a ceremony to receive the provincial-level relic ranking certificate and Cam Hai Communal House Temple festival 2019 in Cam Hai Commune on July 3.
Cam Hai Communal House Temple was built in 1980 at Hamlet 3, Cam Hai Commune. Every year, on the first day of the 6th lunar month, local people in Cam Ha Commune organizes Cam Hai Communal House Temple Festival, aiming at commemorating the great merits of 6 Royal Highnesses who built this land. This year, Cam Hai Communal House Temple is honored to receive the provincial-level relic ranking certificate.
Cam Hai Communal House Festival 2019 took place after the certificate granting ceremony. Cam Hai people and Ha Long Commune, Van Don District solemnly took the palanquin processions of the 6 Royal Highnesses to a shrine of Hamlet 5. Then, they returned to the temple to conduct a peace ritual ceremony.
Also at the festival, locals and tourists took part in folk games such as men’s and women’s boat racing, duck catching on land, tug of war, bag jumping, Red-whiskered Bulbul bird competition.
