"Cai Chien Island welcomes summer 2017" is the title of the Culture and Tourism Week in Hai Ha district from Jun. 9 - 12, 2017.
Aiming at promoting and introducing Hai Ha's tourism in general and Cai Chien Island in particular to the domestic and international tourists, the event includes a series of the exciting activities, such as: art performance; the contest of "the best MC on Hai Ha district"; an exhibition displaying Quang Ninh's products; and beach games, etc.
As reported, Hai Ha has implemented robust measures to attract investment to upgrade tourism infrastructure and developed a variety of tourism products in order to attract visitors to the district, especially to Cai Chien island. To date, some of the key construction works have been invested, including the No 1, and No2 piers; a concrete road through the island, and a fresh water reservoir. In addition, the quality of services and environmetal sanitation were much improved. A ferry, 12 electric cars and highspeed boats are also availble to transport passengers to the island.
With great effort in upgrading tourism infrastructure, in the five first months of 2017, Hai Ha has welcomed over 8,900 tourist arrivals, of which more than 8,500 arrivals to the Cai Chien Island.
