Blood donation festival held in Van Don

The Provincial General Hospital on March 24 organized a blood donation festival in Van Don district in response to the 88th anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Day.

Over 300 units of blood were collected at the festival.
270 units of blood were collected at the festival.

Over 300 blood donors, including officials, Youth Union members and local people took part in the program. As many as 270 units of blood were collected.

With the theme “Donate blood to save people’s life”, the event aims to call for people at all levels to donate their blood, helping to ease blood shortages in hospitals in the province. Donating blood is a noble gesture which shows both compassion and tolerance, whilst the activity itself is a way of showing a young person’s responsibility to the community.
