Binh Lieu District has issued the plan for organizing Golden Rice Season Festival in Oct. 2020.
The festival is within a series of activities to be held for the first time, coinciding with the rice cultivation calendar in Binh Lieu. Accordingly, there will be exciting programs, for example, harvesting rice on terraced; sport competitions on terraced in categories of running, tug-of-war, pole-pushing, “con” throwing…; arts performances; Tay ethnic people’s new rice ritual, hiking to Cao Xiem Peak…The programs will run from mid-Aug. to Nov 2020.
The opening ceremony and main events will be held from Oct.16-18 when golden rice fields are waiting for harvest on terraced fields. Chosen locations are hamlets where there are the most stunning terraced fields, including Ngan Pat Kha Ngan O, Cao Thang, Lam Tut (in Luc Hon Commune), Song Mooc (Dong Van Commune), Cao Son (Hoanh Mo Commune), and Huc Dong Commune.
