Apart from famous tourist attractions like Ha Long Bay, Yen Tu Monuments and Landscape, Quang Ninh has been known as a locality suitable for developing adventure tourism and border tourism. Binh Lieu District, a border area, has been considered as a miniature Sapa of the Northeastern province.
The beginning of September to November is the time when Binh Lieu is in autumn, the most beautiful and romantic season in a year. Tourists travelling to the district during this time will have chance to immerse themselves in peaceful and tranquil autumn atmosphere at a mountainous area, visit hamlets, walk on rice-scent paths, and see border landmarks. Thanks to tourism stimulus packages post Covid-19, Binh Lieu has received an increasing number of tourists coming back. During the 2nd phases of the packages, the district welcomes 8,000 tourist arrivals, an increase of 20%. Local authority has encouraged tourist accommodation owners to upgrade their facilities and services to better serve tourists.
