Big C supercenter construction kicks off

On May 21, a ground-breaking ceremony has been held by the Vietnam-Japan Real State JSC at Cot 5, Hong Hai Ward, Ha Long city to start the construction of the Big C supercentert. The ceremony was attended by Vice-Chairman of QNPPC Nguyen Van Thanh, leaders of the revelant provincial departments and Ha Long city People's Committee.

Big C Ha Long project is invested by the Vietnam-Japan Real estate JSC with the total investmenmt capital of VND 350 billion. Covering a land of 20,000 square meters, the supercenter is a 2-storey building with an area of 11,052 sq. for trading and a 7,470 sq m.car park with a capacity of 450 cars and nearly 1,000 motorbikes. The center is expected to creat jobs for around 500 local people. It will be a supplier of various high-quality goods with reasonable prices to people in Quang Ninh and in its neighbouring areas.

The Big C Ha Long supercenter will be constructed under the model of a green commercial center applying friendly technology to the environment, including a 3D-wall system, sound proof and heat-insulting abat-vents and fluorescent lamp system...

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh affrimed that Big C Ha Long construction is significant event of investment attraction, trade, tourism and services development. It also contributed to the socio-economic development reaffirming that Quang Ninh is always an attractive and reliable venues for domestic and foreign investors.

As scheduled, the Big C Ha Long supercenter will be completed in the second quarter of 2014.
