With the theme of “Glorious yellow flower tea”, the second Yellow Flower Tea festival in Ba Che district officially opened on Jan. 6, 2018.
The event aims to display nearly 200 yellow flower tea trees, and promote and sell Quang Ninh’s OCOP products and other typical local products of Ba Che district. It is also an occasion to promote the cultural and ethnic identity, raising the solidarity among people in the province and encourage the locals to develop Ba Che into a prosperous district.
At the opening ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of Quang Ninh Vu Thi Thu Thuy strongly affirmed the significant role of the festival in boosting the medical values of the yellow flower tea, and Ba Che’s potential. She also directed the People's Commiittee of Ba Che distric to intensify the development of the yellow flower tea, closely collaborate with other sectors to connect tourism routes, train tourist guides, and bolster the promotion of tourist attarctions in the district.
As reported, a variety of activities were held during the festival, including a workshop on ba Che tourism investment promotion by 2025 with a vision to 2030.
The festival wrapped up on Jan. 7.
