A delegation of the Australian Political Exchange Council headed by Mrs. Angela Drake, Deputy Chief Minister of the Australian Capital Territory, paid a visit to Quang Ninh and had an exchange with the Provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union on Nov. 5 in Ha Long city.
Mr. Le Hung Son, Secretarty of the Quang Ninh Youth Union (QNYU) warmly welcomed the delegation to Quang Ninh. At the coutersy meeting, he made a brief introduction about the socio-economic development of Quang Ninh, structure and organization of the QNYU as well as the Youth movement and activities over the years. He hoped that through this visit, the friendship between the two sides and two countries would be further developed.
At the reception, the two sides also discussed about the effective models undertaken by the youth of both sides, exchanged some experiences in raising the effectiveness of the Youth movement in order to contribute to the nation’s development.
Mrs. Angela Drake, in turn, hoped to have more chances to exchange and get to know more about the cultures, traditions and people of Vietnam in general and Quang Ninh in particular.
