“Ao Dai week” launched nationwide

The Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union has launched "Ao Dai Week" nationwide to celebrate the 113th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2023).

Accordingly, "Ao Dai Week" takes place from March 1 to 8 nationwide. This activity promotes the success of the series of activities "Ao Dai - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" and "Ao Dai Week" in 2022, in order to continue to create a ripple effect in the community and arouse the responsibility of preserving, promoting Vietnam's cultural heritage.

Responding to "Ao Dai Week", the Hanoi Women's Union mobilized cadres, members, female civil servants, public employees, laborers, young women and women throughout the city to actively respond.

Women's Unions at all levels in 30 districts, towns and establishments across the city have been carrying out many practical and meaningful activities to respond to "Ao Dai Week", such as organizing events to promote the beauty of women with Dai.

With the positive response of women across the country, it will make an important contribution to realizing the Vietnam Women's Union's goal of making the value of Ao Dai a cultural heritage of Vietnam.
