On Oct 31st, in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh’s Vice-chairwomen, Vu Thi Thu Thuy, presided over a meeting regarding the adjustment and supplement of Ha Long Bay – the world’s heritage Management Plan, in the period of 2017-2021.
After listening to a report made by Ha Long Bay Management Departmentand ideas raised by relevant departments and localities, Quang Ninh’s Vice-chairwoman agreed with the adjustment and supplement of Ha Long Bay – the world’s heritage Management Plan, period 2017-2021.
She emphasized that the adjustment and supplement of the plan must ensure long-term vision and contribute to managing, preserving, and effectively promoting Ha Long Bay’s values as well as controlling socio-economic activities in Ha Long Bay area.
Quang Ninh’s Vice-chairwoman asked Ha Long Bay Management Department to synthesize ideas at the meeting to complete the plan in Nov then submit to the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism for assessment.
