Quang Ninh greeted 6.6 million tourist arrivals in the first four months of the year, seeing an increase of 14 percent over the same period last year, accounting for 48 percent of the year’s plan.
Of which, the number of international arrivals to the province was estimated at more than 2 million, up 14 percent. The tourism sector grossed nearly VND12 billion in revenue, occupying 44 percent of the year’s plan.
In the remaining months of the year, the sector continues to put high priority on improving the quality of tourism and services, with the highlight of the Quang Ninh tourism promotion program that is scheduled to be organized in the United Kingdom in May, 2019.
Besides, state management in tourism will be intensified in the upcoming time in order to ensure the healthy business environment, leaving deep impression on tourists to Quang Ninh.
