Nov. 3, in Ha Long city, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has held a meeting of the Review Panel to reward the sixth Mining Region Artist title 2010 to the excellent candidates. Vice-chairwoman of QNPPC – Mrs. Vu Thi Thu Thuy chaired the meeting.
“Mining region artist” is a noble title rewarded to the excellent actors, directors, commanders, filmmakers, painters, broadcasters… who are living, studying and working at public and non-public art units in Quang Ninh. In this 6th reward, there are 50 nominations, of which 26 candidates are qualified and 10 individuals are proposed to be exceptionally accepted by the Review Panel under Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
At the meeting, the Review Panel has conducted voting procedures. As a result, 36/36 outstanding candidates were awarded with the Mining Region Artist title.
In 2010, the winners were awarded with a certificate of achievement and a VND 4-million bonus from the PPC.
