The Vietnam Airlines' HVN68 flight bringing 30 Vietnamese citizens from China landed at Van Don International Airport at about 5.02 a.m on February 10. Right after landing, the 30 citizens were quarantined and taken to the Central Tropical Hospital 2 in Dong Anh District, Hanoi to be monitored and isolated in 14 days as prescribed.
In order to carry out the Vietnam Aviation Administration's guidance, Van Don International Airport was assigned to be the airport to receive non-regular flights bringing Vietnamese people back from China. Accordingly, the HVN68 flight, which departed from Hanoi's Noi Bai International Airport at 9.55 p.m. on Feb. 9 to deliver Vietnamese aids including medical equipment to Wuhan, arrived in Wuhan at around 1 a.m. on Feb. 10. It then picked up 30 Vietnamese citizens from the city and landed in Quang Ninh's Van Don International Airport at 5:04 a.m.
As reported, a separate parking lot was reserved for the plane in the airport, so that its arrival would not affect the airport's general operations. Crew members and passengers, including an 8-month pregnant woman, on the plane underwent body temperature checks and had their luggage disinfected. They are now in stable health.
