With the theme “Viet Nam - Timeless charm”, the contest was held by Viet Nam Tourism Review and the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, under the direction of Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism - Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Since the contest was launched, the Organizing Board has received 6,466 photos (including 6,011 color photos, 455 black and white photos) by 590 photographers from 61 cities and provinces nationwide.
12 art works were awarded with prizes, including 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes; 6 encouraging prizes. Notably, 152 beautiful photos were selected by the Organizing Board to be displayed at the exhibition in July 9th 2013. In this exhibition, Quang Ninh has 3 art works by photographers namely Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, Bach Ngoc Tu and Duong Phuong Dai.
