According to the Department of Transport, to date, 230 tourist boats operating on Ha Long Bay have just been installed the Global Positioning System (GPS) for better boat management as well as ensuring safety for the visitors, especially in the rainy season.
The installation of GPS for the tourist boats is a part of investment project on managing and controlling the operation of tourist boats on Ha Long Bay with the total investment capital of over VND 12 bln.
At present, QNPPC is also enhancing the propaganda activities to speed up the installation progress for completion by April 30.
