On April 1, the Quang Ninh provincial Fatherland Front held a ceremony to present the 31st Le Thanh Tong poem prize.
Untitled “Promoting traditional values, nurturing new Vietnamese from each family to the whole community”, the 31st Le Thanh Tong poem prize attracted the participation of 20 poem clubs across the province. The organizing board chose 19 out of 104 poems to award prizes including one B prize, five C prizes, thirteen encouragement prizes and one for the eldest poet.
On this occasion, the provincial Fatherland Front Committee and the provincial Art and Literature Association also praised the Le Thanh Tong Poem Club of Ha Long city’s Ha Tu ward and the Le Thanh Tong Poem Club of Hoanh Bo district for their effective performance.
Launched by the Quang Ninh provincial Fatherland Front Committee since 1988, Le Thanh Tong poem prize aims to offer local people of all ages with active encouragement to compose poems as well as unveil young talents in this cultural area.
