The 2018 National Tourism Year is scheduled to take place in Quang Ninh province. Therefore, Quang Ninh should be active in preparations to highlight the local unique tourism products in order to introduce to the domestic and international friends.
This information was released at a conference of Quang Ninh's leaders regarding the preparations of the 2018 National Tourism Year held on Jun.1, in Ha Long city.
Accordingly, the opening ceremony of the 2018 National Tourism Year is scheduled to take place at the Ha Long Sun World Park in Quang Ninh province in late March, and the closing ceremony will be held at the FLC Resort in Hong Hai Ward in late March, 2019. The financial resource for this event is mainly from the social mobilization. One of the most notably activities responding to the 2018 National Year is fireworks performances which will be displayed by the Sun group in every evening at weekends.
Besides, the 2018 Japanese Cherry and Yen Tu Yellow Apricot blossom festival is scheduled to kick off in Uong Bi city.
Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party’s Committee Nguyen Van Doc made some key conclusions. For instance, the title of the National Tourism Year is “ Ha Long Bay Heritage - Wonder – A friendly destination”; the 2018 Ha Long Carnival should be held at the same time of the opening of the National Tourism Year 2018. Therefore, it is expected to be the most exciting event of the year 2018, promising a wide range of attractive activities.
