On Mar 27, Quang Ninh Provincial Standing People’s Council held a meeting to review preparations for 16th session of Provincial People’s Council, 13th tenure, which will take place this month. Provincial Party’s Committee Secretary, cum chairman of People’s Council, Nguyen Xuan Ky, chaired the meeting.
16th session of Provincial People’s Council, 13th tenure is scheduled to be held online to meet requirements in the context of Covid-19 prevention and control.
Delivering his speech at the meeting, Provincial Party’s Committee Secretary, cum chairman of People’s Council, Nguyen Xuan Ky asked departments and relevant units to well prepare the content to be submited at the session
As for the resolution on “tasks and measures to prevent and control Covid-19 pandemic and stabilize socio-economic situation in Quang Ninh”, he required adjustments in provincial budget expenditure estimate in 2020 and plans to increase the provincial budget revenue in 2020.
He also suggested the resolution should define mechanism and policies to encourage and support people who directly involve in the disease prevention and control. He emphasized that the resolution making reflected not only the humanity but also the responsibility of the province towards disease prevention and control.
