Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has issued a decision to set up a Vietnamese sports team attending the 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, 2019, in the Philippines from Nov. 20 to Dec.12.
Accordingly, the Vietnamese sports team consists of 856 members, including 803 coaches and athletes competing in 43 out of 56 subjects with the target of obtaining 70 – 72 gold medals to be ranked the 3rd position in the medal tally.
Participating in the national team to compete in the 30th SEA Games, Quang Ninh has 10 athletes and 3 coaches. The athletes are 6 football players of Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Team including Khong Thi Hang, Nguyen Thi Van, Duong Thi Van, Nguyen Thi Thu Hang, Le Thi Diem My, Le Thi Yen and Le Thi Hong (woman volleyball), Pham Thi Hue (marathon), Ngo Dinh Chuyen (swimming), Chau Kieu Loan (archery shooting). The three coaches are Doan Minh Hai (woman football), Le Thi Hien (woman volleyball) and Pham Thu Huong (martial arts Arnis).
