On March 17 & 19, Quang Ninh province issued Documents No.1657/UBND-DL1 and No.1733/UBND-DL2 on establishing 10 interdisciplinary quarantine points to control people and vehicles before entering Quang Ninh province by road.
Quarantine point No.1: At toll fee collection station on Bach Dang bridge.
Quarantine point No.2: On national road No.10 in Da Bac area, Phuong Nam ward, Uong Bi city.
Quarantine point No.3: On national road No.4B in Yen Than area, Tien Yen district
Quarantine point No.4: On national road No.279 towards Bac Giang, belonging to Tan Dan commune, Ha Long city
Quarantine point No.5: On national road No.18, Vang Chua bridge, Binh Duong commune, Dong Trieu town.
Quarantine point No.6: On Da Vach bridge, Mao Khe ward, Dong Trieu town.
Quarantine point No.7: On the road No.345 to Luc Nam district, Bac Giang province, belonging to Binh Duong commune, Dong Trieu town
Quarantine point No.8: On Hoang Thach bridge, Mao Khe ward, Dong Trieu town.
Quarantine point No.9: At Rung ferry station, Yen Giang ward, Quang Yen Town.
Quarantine point No.10: At Trieu ferrry station, Hong Phong ward, Dong Trieu Town.
People’s Committees of the localities of Dong Trieu, Uong Bi, Quang Yen, Ha Long, Tien Yen and the departments and sectors of Health, Transport, provincial Public Police and provincial Military Command have arranged staff at the quarantine points. Each quarantine point has arranged three working groups to perform 24-hour task (including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays), starting from March 18 until a new policy is given by Quang Ninh provincial People’s Committee.
The establishment of the above-mentioned quarantine points aims to control 100% of foreigners to Quang Ninh, measuring body temperature, asking them to declare heath condition and travel schedule for all people entering and leaving the province, particularly cases from disease-hit areas, checking the disease prevention and control on public transports, ensuring that 100% of passengers wear face masks and hand sanitizer bottles are available on vehicles.
