The Ministry of National Defence held a ceremony to confer the Meritorious Teacher title on ten outstanding teachers from military schools on November 19th in Hanoi, in acknowledgement of their great and whole-hearted contributions to education, on the occasion of Vietnam Teachers’ Day.
Over the past years, the Party, State and Army have attached great importance to building up a large number of professional teachers. Army teachers and educational boards have been in unity, actively studied to raise their professionalism, and recorded remarkable achievements.
Army teachers and educational boards have become bright examples for students, as a leading force in promoting education and training quality in military schools for the national education cause.
Addressing the ceremony, Lieutenant-General Pham Xuan Hung asked the honoured teachers to continue to promote their professionalism and experiences, have new effective teaching methods, as well as study and compile textbooks and learning materials for students to further raise education quality.
