The construction of Yen Tu festival and tourism services center commenced in Jan., 2015 in Yen Tu historic relic site, Uong Bi city. The 15.81ha center will include components, such as: the festival center, reception, the expo display, management and operation, service and conference areas.
Inspecting the project progress on Dec. 25, Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party's Committee Nguyen Van Doc hailed the investor (Tung Lam Development joint-stock company) for their great efforts during the project implementation. He then affirmed that the project plays a significant component in developing Yen Tu relic site into the capital of Vietnamese Buddhism. He asked the investor to intensify supervising the implementation of each components in compliance with the technique and art design approved by the province.
As planned, the project will be completed in late 2017 and put into its operation in 2018.
