The Vietnam Startup Innovation Day 2019 (Techfest) oficially kicked off on Dec. 4 in Ha Long city. The event was attended by Vice Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam, leaders of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, Quang Ninh province and nearly 1,000 delegates as domestic and international investors and experts.
With the theme "Combining the resources", Techfest Vietnam 2019 focuses on advising policy makers the way sto attract domestic and foreign resources; develop innovative start-up ecosystem, and effectively promote activities of organizations and individuals in the start-up ecosystem.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Quang Ninh’s Chairman Nguyen Van Thang strongly affirmed that with its outstanding values, Quang Ninh, always pays special attention to the development of science and technology, especially innovative startup activities.
“We hope through this event, Quang Ninh is ambitious to continue promoting connectivity, introducing and promoting products and services of innovative startups; At the same time, aiming to engage and promote Quang Ninh's innovative start-up activities to develop and contribute to making Vietnam as one of the leading countries in the region in terms of startup innovation”, said the Chairman.
At the three-day event in Quang Ninh, there will be 14 seminars, talks, exhibitions focusing on connectivity platforms, network development among components in the Vietnam's innovative ecosystem with creative startup ecosystem in the region and in the world; update the most innovative technology creative startups, etc ...In addition, the semifinal of"Finding national innovative and entrepreneurial talent" contes twill also be held as a sideline activity of the Techfest 2019.
Techfest Vietnam is the largest annual event designated for the start-up and innovation community in Vietnam. After 4 years of implementation, Techfest Vietnam has attracted the attention and participation of many economic sectors.
