A seminar in Panama on January 20 hosted by the Vietnam Embassy touted the enticing gastronomy, history and culture of the country that is gaining in popularity as a tourism destination.
Vietnam offers a wide variety of tourism options – cruises, ecotourism, heritage, art and theatre, medical and cosmetic surgery, business conferences and leisure as well as sports – according to embassy personnel.
“We have a lot to offer and the tourism industry is steadily maturing. Our diverse options can satisfy your every desire and discovering all our beauties will take a lifetime even for Vietnamese,” they said.
The seminar themed ‘Conociendo sobre Vietnam’ (getting to know Vietnam) experimented with video clips in Spanish highlighting the country’s land, people and culture to Panamanian residents.
A special element of warmth was achieved when the evening capped off with participants enjoying traditional dishes and drink including spring rolls, pho and salads prepared by authentic Vietnamese chefs.
