On Nov 15, at Quang Ninh Tourism Information and Promoting Center in Bai Chay Ward (Ha Long city), an exhibition titled “Vietnam Heritage Photos 2012” has been jointly organized by Vietnam Heritage Magazine (under Cultural Heritage Department), Cultural Heritage Association of Ho Chi Minh city and Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and will last until Nov. 25th.
It is expected to be an activity celebrating the 8th anniversary of Vietnam’s Cultural Heritage Day (Nov.23th). It was attended by Dr. Dang Van Bai- Deputy Chairman of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association; Deputy Director of Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Quoc Thai.
The exhibition presents 106 photos that have been selected from nearly 2,900 nominations at the 2012 Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards launched by the Vietnam Heritage Magazine in June, 2012. The photos introduce the nature and cultural life of Vietnamese people as well as the values of heritages all over the country.
