Vice Chairman of QNPPC Do Thong receives delegation of Ramat Negev Regional Council (Israel)

On Nov. 18 in Ha Long city, Standing Vice Chairman of QNPPC Do Thong chaired a meeting with a delegation of Ramat Negev Regional Council and Ben Guirion University of the Nev. (Israel) led by the Council Mayor Shamuel Moshe Rifman during their the working visit in Quang Ninh to explore cooperation and investment opportunities in agriculture.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of QNPPC Do Thong has made an brief introduction of the potential and advantages of Quang Ninh focusing on agro-forestry. He highly appreciated the delegation’s visit, and wished that the Ben Guirion University of the Nev would have cooperation with QNPPC in training students building capacity for officials in agricultural area; assisting Quang Ninh in designing the model of supplying hi-quality seeds; invest in building a hi-tech agricultural zone, planting forests and wood processing; building a centre for hi-tech aquatic breed and aquaculture.

For his part, Mayor of the Ramat Negev Region and President of the Ben Gurion University sincerely thanked Quang Ninh’s leaders for their cordial reception. He also introduced the natual conditions of the region and strengths of the university. Accordingly, Ramat Negev has great advantages in developing agriculture with abundant species of plants and animals. The Ben Gurion University of the Nev. has great strengths in training human resource in hi-tech agriculture. It has currently cooperated with many Vietnamese provinces and cities in the field of agriculture, especially in training students of agriculture under the 11 month- training course.
