The flight VN18 bringing 224 Vietnamese citizens from France back home landed at Van Don international airport on May 6.
In compliance with the Vietnam Aviation Administration’s guidance on the reception of international flights from disease-hit areas, these passengers were received in special process, including undertaking compulsory health declaration as well as entry and customs procedures outside the terminal and then sending to the isolation areas for 14 days.
Since Covid-19 outbreak in Wuhan (China), Van Don international airport received 41 flights bringing nearly 6,700 passengers from disease-hit areas around the world. Not only thoroughly receving Vietnamese people from Covid-19 hot spots back home, Van Don international airport has continuously received flights carrying experts and high-qualified staffs of the Vietnam-based foreign enterprises back to work in line with safe regulations.
