Van Don International Airport receives first flight from Russia

The Airbus flight VN62 bringing 345 Vietnamese citizens from Russia – the World’s third largest disease-hit area, landed at Van Don International Airport on May 13. This is the first time Van Don International Airport has received the flight from Russia.

Like other flights from disease-hit areas, the reception at Van Don International Airport complied with the closed process outside the terminal. Accordingly, crew members, passengers and their luggages were supervised and quarantined in compliance with special regulations and then sent to the isolation areas for 14 days, limiting cross- infection.

According to statistics, over the three past months, Van Don International Airport received more than 7,700 passengers from 11 disease-hit countries over the world.
