Two flights bringing Vietnamese citizens and foreign experts from South Korea and Japan to Vietnam landed at Van Don International Airport on Apr 22.
The VN 6419 flight bringing 12 South Korean experts of Sam Sung Electronics Vietnam Co., departing from Incheon, South Korea, landed at Van Don International Airport at 10.30 am meanwhile the VN311 flight bringing 298 passengers stuck in Japan due to the effects of Covid-19, departing from Narita, Japan, landed at Van Don airport at 3.15 pm on the same day.
The reception at Van Don International Airport complied with the closed process outside the terminal. Accordingly, the separate parking lots were reserved for the planes at the airport, ensuring that the arrivals of the flights would not affect the airport’s general operation and prevent cross-infection. Crew members, passengers and their luggages were supervised and quarantined in compliance with special regulations.
These are the 34th and 35th flight bringing Vietnamese citizens and international experts back Vietnam from disease-hit areas. Following the Prime Minister’s order, from Feb 10, 2020 until now, Van Don International Airport has received more than 5,300 passengers to Vietnam.
