245 artworks about Vietnam and Ha Long city, Quang Ninh, will be displayed at an exhibition which will run from October 30th to November 8th.
The works are done by 192 artists from 47 cities and provinces nationwide, including 43 entries focussing on the topic of Ha Long and Quang Ninh.
The exhibits were selected from 10,190 single photos and photo collections sent to the organising board of the Vietnam Artistic Photo Contest 2018 since the launch in May 2018.
The exhibition will be held by the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the Association of Vietnamese Photography Artists and Quang Ninh provincial Department of Culture and Sports, to review and honour creativity and photographic achievements in Vietnam over the past two years.
The 22 best entries of the Vietnam Artistic Photo Exhibition will be awarded at the opening ceremony to be held in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province, on October 30th.
