To focus on creating financial resource from the land resource, from the beginning of the year up to now, Uong Bi city has completed many large plans, such as: administrative area planning for Nam Khe ward ; Southern Uong Bi urban zone; Uong riverside villaarea, and Nam Khe market.
The city has also organized a ceremony to announce the plan of Yen Trung lake eco-tourism resort, and Lung XanhEco tourism resort, Southern Uong Bi Urban Area, Yen Tu Road and some other new urban areas.
The city is now actively collaborating with consultant units to complete some major plans, namely: the plan on extending the Sweden - Viet Nam hospital, and plan on the development of industry and small industry during the period of 2010-2020, in the orientation of 2025.
