As many as 1,510 delegates to the 12th National Party Congress cast their votes on members of the Party Central Committee (PCC) term XII in Hanoi on January 26th. Accordingly, the 180 official members and 20 alternate members were announced.
Vu Hong Thanh, Deputy Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee was elected as one of the officials members; Le Quang Tung, Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee was elected as one of the 20 alternate members.
On behalf of the Quang Ninh Party, Government and People, Nguyen Van Doc, Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party's Committee, congratulated them on their success. He added that this is not only the great effect of the two individuals but also of the Quang Ninh Party, Government and People.
Both Thanh and Tung showed their happiness for their being newly elected as members of the Party Central Committee term XII. They also expressed their determination to do their best in fullfilling their tasks.
