On August 24, at the closing session of the First Extraordinary Session of the 16th National Assembly, the National Assembly voted to approve the Resolution on the establishment of Quang Ninh City.
Lawmakers closed the National Assembly’s 10th sitting after passing 51 laws and 39 resolutions, reviewing state performance and laying the groundwork for Việt Nam’s next development cycle.
Deputy Nguyễn Thị Thủy from Thái Nguyên Province praised the NA of 2021-26 tenure for innovations in legislative approaches, reduced time and procedures in the lawmaking process, fundamental reforms in the drafting process and new thinking in removing legal bottlenecks.
