According to the forecast of functional authorities, Quang Ninh’s market in October will be continuously stable and reach a high growth rate in comparison with the same period last year.
The total retail sales of goods and services in October is estimated to achieve VND 2,881 billion, up 4.3% compared to last month and increases 33.5% over the same period of 2010. Generally, in ten months of 2011, the total retail sales of goods and consuming services is estimated to achieve VND 25,324 billion, up 23.1% over the same period last year.
In general, there have no dramatic changes in price in October. The price will continue to be effectively controlled. Accordingly, Consuming Price Index (hereafter CPI) increases 0.47% compared to September (this is the lowest growth rate in the first ten months of 2011) and increases 13.48% in comparison with December, 2010.
