In the morning of Oct. 13, 2011, Mrs. Vice-chairwoman of QNPPC- Vu Thi Thu Thuy chaired a meeting with the participation of representatives from provincial sectors and departments to evaluate the preparation of human resource development planning in each area during the period of 2011- 2020.
Discussing at the meeting, representatives of provincial departments and sectors stated that the preparation of human resource development planning is a new concept, therefore there are still confusion and difficulties during the implementation process.
In addition, a lot of data do not exist in statistical system; sectors and local departments do not have annual monitoring data. Provincial departments and sectors recommended to be provided with original data. The Investment and Planning Department therefore should develop detail plans, in which key sectors should be indicated and specific tasks should be assigned to each sector and department.
To conclude the meeting, Mrs. Vu Thi Thu Thuy praised the provincial departments and sectors that have actively implemented and developed plans. She also emphasized that there is a need to build human resource development planning for the province during the period of 2011-2020.
This work is difficult to be implemented but it does not mean that it is impossibly done. She concluded that the preparation of project on human resource development planning for Quang Ninh during the period of 2011- 2020 must be completed by December 30th, 2011.
