From the beginning of the year up to now, the total value of exported goods within Quang Ninh province has been estimated to reach USD 1,598.78 million, increasing 15.9% over the same period of last year and attained 67,38% of the plan. Of which the export at the central level was USD 1.280,84 million; at the local level was USD 197,72 million and from the FDI enterprises was USD 123,22 million.
Some exported goods highly increase in comparison with the same period of last year. Specifically, Tung huong is 5,438 tons, up to 31.6%; clothing increases 455,000 items, up to 38,2%.
Besides, cement enterprises continues to export cement and clinkers to the foreign market. As a result, 527,042 tons of clinkers and 174.000 tons of cement have been exported for the first 8 months of the years.
However, there are some exported goods that reduce over the same of last year, namely: coal export achieved 11,55 million tons, down to 8,2%; chemical fiber export reduced over 14%.
