The total state bugdet has reached more than 17.000 billion VND for the first seven months of 2011

On August 8th , Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting with the Department of Finance regarding the implementation of tasks in the first seven months of  2011 and the key tasks in the last five months.

As reported by the Department of Finance, in the first seven months of 2011, the total state budget revenues of the province has reached over VND 17,000 billion (achieved 76% estimated budget and equivalent to 123% over the same period), local budget expenditure for the 7 months was over VND 5,000 billion (achieved 67% estimated budget and made an increase of 56% over the same period). The Finance Department has received and provided distribution guidance, and timely  reviewed  the regular budget expenditure forecasts of  2011 for  210 units with a total estimated cost of VND 1,500 billion; the Department has also  recorded non-productive  expenditures and receipts of  143 billion  ensuring accuracy and deadline. Administrative reform is also effectively implemented by the Department. Under its authority, the Department has examined and speeded up the   control of the administrative procedures; at the same time it  reviewed and controlled administrative procedures  to report to the PPC. In addition, the Department of Finance has advised the Provincial People's Committee to implement the Resolution N011/NQ-CP by the Government;  setting the target of saving 10% of the regular expenditure of the state budget  in 9 months of 2011 for the units and the districts, towns and cities with a total cost saving of over VND 52 billion...

To conclude the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, Vice Chairman of the PPC highly appreciated the results that have been achieved by the Department of Finance in the first seven months of 2011. It significantly contributed to the accomplishment of the economic and political goals of the local  in 2011.

Mr.Thanh recommended that the Department of Finance should continue to affirm and better promote its advisory role and function for the PPC in terms of  ensuring budget security, creating a firm base for the provincial budget; enhancing the collaboration with other relevant departments and locals in order to  continue to contribute to the socio-economic development of  the province.
