On Dec. 25, in Ha Long city, the Provincial Party Secretary Pham Minh Chinh has received and worked with delegation of Information and Communication Department of Win Nan (China) headed by Mr Cui Wen - Deputy Director of the department. Mrs Vu Thi Thu Thuy, vice-chairwoman of the PPC also attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Mr. Pham Minh Chinh briefly introduced to the delegation about potential advantages and strengths as well as socio-economic development of the province in 2011 and direction for the coming years.
On behalf of the delegation, Mr Cui Wen sincerely thanked the leaders of QNPPC for their cordial reception and highly appreciated the development of Quang Ninh province. He stated that there are a great deal of similarities between the two provinces, and said, this is a good chance for the two provinces to enhance collaboration in many areas, especially in information and communication.
Mr Pham Minh Chinh hoped that the cooperative relationship between Quang Ninh (Vietnam) and Win Nan (China) in particular and Vietnam-China in general in the coming time will be thoroughly developed. He proposed that the leaders of the two departments should consider and examine the cooperation possibility of the two sides, especially in training human resource and exchanging experiences in information, communications, and boosting tourism image.
The Provincial Secretary leader also informed the delegation about the investment promotion conference of Quang Ninh province in 2012. He also expected to attract participation of the enterprises of Win Nan to Quang Ninh. He sent his invitation to Win Nan’s leaders to visit and work with Quang Ninh in the coming time.
