An exchange, “The Glory of Vietnam” will take place at the Hanoi Opera House on December 18th on the occasion of the 67th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army, according to information released at a press conference on December 12th in Hanoi held by the Lao Dong Newspaper, the Department of Propaganda and Training, under the General Department of Politics of Vietnam Television.
The exchange aims to honour 21 the Heroes of Labour, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, and outstanding collectives and individuals and enterprises for their achievements in emulation movements to build and protect the country.
In addition, the exchange will introduce outstanding examples such as: Mai Phung Luu, fisherman in Hoang Sa Islands and Tran Van Tuyen, who participated in the rescue of victims of a sinking boat off Bai Ham Sea.
The exchange will be broadcast live on VTV1 on December 18th at 7.30pm.
