Apr 8 is the first day when five local schools in Quang Ninh namely Hon Gai High School, Hai Dao High School, Tien Yen High School, Tran Quoc Toan Secondary School, and Ha Long Elementary School, officially adopt online learning via the software developed by AIC Group.
At Hai Dao High School, the school administrator assigned some teachers pilot teaching specific subjects this morning.
Bui Minh Tho, a teacher at Hai Dao High School said “I find online learning via the software developed by AIC Group more advantageous than other free softwares. It offers interactive interface among teacher and pupils in addition to integrating online tests. Notably, it provides a source of learning materials and lesson samples from elementary to high school level for pupil to refer”.
Specially, Hon Gai High School has adopted online learning since Apr 6th.
Most teachers and pupils at schools, where online learning are adopted, are excited with new leaning method. However, they suggested an upgrade in internet transmission to improve the image and sound during online classes.
AIC Group has installed the software and created accounts for more than 7,600 teachers and pupils at the five schools. It is expected that Quang Ninh’s Department of Education and Training will evaluate the pilot program at the end of Apr and expand the program province-wide based upon reviews.
Quang Ninh is of five provinces and cities nationwide chosen by the Ministry of Education and Training to pilot online learning basing on available information and technology platform which has been invested to cover every corner of the province.
