In the framework of the official working visit in Vietnam, the delegation of the Ukrainian Communist Party led by First Secretary of Central Committee of the Ukrainian Communist Party – Mr. Simonenko yesterday paid a working visit to Quang Ninh province. Mr. Pham Minh Chinh, member of the Central Party Committee, Provincial Party Secretary has received and worked with the delegation.
At the meeting, Mr Pham Minh Chinh expressed his pleasure to welcome Mr Simonnenko and senior delegation of the Ukrainian Communist Party to Quang Ninh. He introduced to the Ukraine delegation a snap short covering natural conditions, population, economy, culture as well as both strengths and challenges of the province.
He stressed that, leaders of the Vietnamese Communist Party in general and Quang Ninh Provincial Party committee in particular always highly appreciate the friendship between the two countries. He also wished that the cooperation between the two sides will be further developed with fruitful achievements. Mr. Secretary also highly appreciated results of activities of the Communist Party of Ukraine and said he believed the Ukrainian Party would continue developing under the leadership of Simonenko.
Mr. Simonenko sincerely thanked the Party and People of Vietnam in general and Quang Ninh in particular for the cordial reception and good sentiment to the delegation. He is delighted to visit Viet Nam again after a long time and to witness the great changes of Viet Nam and Quang Ninh under the leadership of the Communist Party of Viet Nam. He also hoped that the traditional and friendly relation between the two parties would be more practically and effectively developed.
In the morning of Oct. 12, the delegation visited Ha Long Bay after working with Cao Son Coal Company (in Cam Pha town). In the afternoon of the same day, the delegation returned to Ha Noi, ending the working visit in Quang Ninh.
