With the theme of “Tien Yen - Connecting Colors of Ethnic Minority Groups in Quang Ninh’s Northeastern Region", the 2nd Culture and Sports Week of the Ethnic Minority Groups in Quang Ninh’s Northeastern Region will take place from October 4-7, in Tien Yen district. The information was released at a press conference held on Sep. 18.
As an annual event, the Culture and Sports Week of the Ethnic Minority Groups in Quang Ninh’s Northeastern Region draws not only the participation of the localities within Quang Ninh but also the neighbouring districts of Lang Son province, namely Dinh Lap, Loc Binh and Cao Loc.
During the week, a variety of Quang Ninh's OCOP products will be displayed and sold to the locals and visitors; a festival of food from Tien Yen chicken will be opened, and a wide range of events including folk music festival, ethnic traditional costume shows, modern dance and sport dance performances as well as traditional folk sport competitions will also be organized.
The event is expected to offer the locals and visitors an amazing atmosphere and help to preserve the unique cultural characteristics of Quang Ninh’s Northeastern region.
