The 1st Press Festival of the Quang Ninh Media Group (QMG) 2019 opened in the evening of Oct. 4th, in Ha Long City. Prominent among those attending the event was Vice-Chairwoman of Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee Vu Thi Thu Thuy.
The QMG Press Festival is a good chance for Quang Ninh journalists to exchange and improve professional skills, meeting requirements for information and propaganda in the current digital information age, greatly contributing to the overall development of the province. Through the festival, the Organizing Board will select outstanding works to be joined the National Radio Broadcasting Festival, National Press Award, Golden Hammer & Sickle Press Award etc.
The event has attracted the participation of 29 press units from Quang Ninh Media Group, Centers for Media and Culture of localities and other departments, branches and sectors, with 200 works in 5 catergories of journalism including television, radio, printed newspaper, e-news and press photo. The above mentioned works reflected renovation and integration process of Quang Ninh, socio-economic development of localities, good people - good deeds, etc.
