On May 16, Speaker of Myanmar’s Parliament and House of Nationalities Mahn Win Khaing Than pays a visit to Halong Bay on the occasion of his working visit to Vietnam. Quang Ninh's Vice Chairman Le Quang Tung welcomed the delegation.
At the reception, Quang Ninh's Vice Chairman Le Quang Tung expressed his honor to welcome Mr. Mahn Win Khaing Than to Ha Long Bay. He then briefed an introduction of Quang Ninh's socio-economic development and investment incentives, as well as outstanding values of the Halong Bay World Natural Heritage Site.
He hoped that through this visit, the friendship between Myanmar and Vietnam would be enhanced and further developed in the future.
For his part, Mr. Mahn Win Khaing Than was impressed with great achievements in socio-economic development of Vietnam in general and Quang Ninh province in particular.
