Within the framework of his three-day visit to Quang Ninh province, the Governor of Silesia province (Poland) Lukaszczyk Zygmunt on October 15 met with Vice chairman of Quang Ninh People’s Council Nguyen Nhu Hien and Chairman of Quang Ninh People’s Committee Nguyen Van Doc.
The Chairman Nguyen Van Doc warmly welcomed the Governor of Silesia province and his tournament to Quang Ninh province. He also introduced about the province’s potentials and strengths, socio-economic development situation and its future time orientation.
A lot of potential investors from Japan, Thailand, etc have recently been lured to Quang Ninh by its secure economic environment, clear investment climate and preferential policies, the Chairman added.
The Governor Lukaszczyk Zygmunt gave great thanks to the Quang Ninh leaders’ warmly reception and gave a high assessment to the province’s socio-economic achievement.
Discussions were focused on a wide range of issues pertinent to the development of the economic relations in different areas such as tourism, environment, heath care, project management, etc.
The two sides expressed confidence that the official visit of the Governor of Silesia province will give a new impetus to the strengthening of bilateral relations, elevating the relations between Quang Ninh province and Silesia province in particular and Vietnam and Poland to a new level.
As scheduled, Quang Ninh and Silesia will have further discussions on specific issues of concern./.
