On Mar. 18, Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party's Committee Pham Minh Chinh received and worked with Mr. Marcel Van Bouwel, Vice Chairman of the Middle East Development Company (MED), who came to Quang Ninh to seek for possible investment opportunities.
At the meeting, Mr. Marcel Van Bouwel expressed MED's willingness to study and explore investment opportunity to develop infrastructure of the Mac Dynasty Swamp Industrial Park (in Quang Yen town) with a capacity of around 2,000-3000 hectares.
At the reception, Secretary Pham Minh Chinh made a brief introduction of Quang Ninh province. He stressed that Quang Ninh is now focusing on comprehensive measures to develop Quang Ninh into not only a service and industrial province but also an economic hub of the Northern part of Vietnam in the future. Regarding the proposal of MED, Chinh requested the company to make a specific report. He pledged to provide the investors with all the most favourable conditions during their investment in the province.
